Years ago field days sites where filled by manufacturers and suppliers of agricultural machinery, chemicals etc and the visitors to these events where mostly primary producers that live locally.
In recent years, field day events have so much more to offer. General interest pavilions are filled with

in between.
The visitors now are not just farmers, but include the general public that live both locally and afar.
For many people and businesses, attending field days events is like the agricultural show circuit, when one event has finished they pack up their trucks and move on the the next one to do it all again.
